Tween Girls "not" Gone Wild

Self Esteem Building Activities

It's important that we constantly remind our girls of how valuable they are.  In order to do this we must constantly build their self esteem with activities that encourage and reward them.

The BullsKidz dance team, made up of 20 boys and girls aged 6-12, performed at nine selected Bulls games and rocked the United Center crowd with their upbeat and high energy dance routines.  Imagine dancing in front of a crowd of thousands while the cheer and scream.  Not to mention the free season tickets.  My daughter belonged to this team during the 2005-2006 season.

Epiphany Youth Ensemble (EYE) is a structured program within Mo Ní Ijó, designed for dancers who want to make a serious commitment to their dance training. The difference between the two is skill level and performance opportunities.   Auditions are required for this program.  My daughter is currently a member of this dance troupe which has performed all over the country and in Canada.

If they need an Extra Boost?   Go To God  http://www.crossusa.org/Netscape/home.html

If your girls need an extra boost of self estem a roadtrip to vist "THE CROSS" should do it.  The Cross Foundation is dedicated to building both faith and family on an ecumenical basis. The Cross Foundation has completed a 198 foot Cross at the intersection of Interstates 57 & 70 in Effingham, Illinois. This site is intended to serve as a beacon of hope to the 50,000 travelers estimated to pass the site each day. In addition, the Cross Foundation will promote the values of faith and family through other programs.  The cross is complete with all of the ten commandments to remind the girls to "Honor thy Mother and Father" and to remind us parents "Thou Shalt Not Kill".
